Junior's Essay a Winner in NY Times Contest

Congratulations to junior Helen Roche, whose essay on how color affects the brain and was one of eight essays selected from more than 3,500 submissions to be published in The New York Times and Science News' third annual STEM Writing Contest. The students were required to choose an issue or question in science, technology, engineering, math or health, and explain it in under 500 words.
